12th Undergraduate E-Colloquium on Health Sciences

Time: 9 am to 5 pm

Held virtually as an E-Colloquium, the 12th UCHS organized by Semester November 2021 Scientific Communication (MLS 3243) students from both Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Science (Hons) and Bachelor of Occupational Safety and Health (Hons) programs, University Selangor.

The objectives are to enhance communication skills and knowledge in current scientific research among undergraduate students, expose students in managing scientific research seminar and cultivate a sense of teamwork among them, and facilitate the exchange of ideas and fundamental concepts among students and lecturers.

"A True Devotion to a New Finding" is the 12th Undergraduate E-Colloquium on Health Sciences (UCHS) tagline. Devotion means a commitment or dedication to some purpose where all the member are working together hand by hand to make this project a success. The dedication and teamwork help to find a new experience, knowledge and memory together. It is also the passionate and committed research aiming to provide continuous scientific discoveries including the new model analysis and unlocking new ways to fight disease for a better future.

12th UCHS Logo Meaning Explanation:

• Light blue: Symbol of communication which is the main objective of UCHS, which is to communicate new scientific research. Blue also symbolize brain that work to find idea in making this colloquium work as plan.

• Pink: Symbol of hope and positivity. It also represent DNA circle.

• Orange: The background colour Orange has a significant meaning of representing “We are Uniselian” which indicates its the Universal colour of University Selangor. The colour Orange also signifies bright future we may have as A Uniselian.

• Brain: The brain reflects as a symbol of a “cip” that has the supreme capability that stores many information.

• DNA surround the brain: Shows the continuous research that will always exits till the end for the Universal welfare.

• Circle: Symbolizes the circle of the community of researchers that acts as the source of information to the society.

• Wave: Two colours in the wave symbolize the interrelation between MLS & OSH programs and the ability to give impact when united.
